Entrepreneurs in the making

Due to open in the late 2017, this exciting development will be housed in a Victorian warehouse, formely an ice factory. The building will be stripped back to expose its architectural heritage to signal that this is a place to; roll up your sleeves, get hands on, and deliver start-ups.

It's for all students, staff and faculty at the University of Oxford regardless of area of study, providing core programming modelled on the successful Oxford Launchpad established in 2014.

Our objective is to target 20% of the student population, 4,000 people through the doors in the first 3 years and become known globally as the home for entrepreneurs in Oxford.

The purpose of The Oxford Foundry is to:

Inaugural Founding Member

Reid Hoffman was the first Founding Member to make a donation. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and his rational for investing in the project follows on from this, we hope others will be inspired to follow.

Some concepts of entrepreneurship can be taught, but ultimately it is learned from experience and so you can never fully prepare other than by doing.
