Oxford Africa Business Alliance

""

A partnership between our students, alumni, faculty, and staff at Oxford Saïd, focused on driving our Africa Initiative.

The Africa Alliance provides a platform to stimulate a vigorous dialogue about business, investment and entrepreneurship in Africa. Through our faculty, students & alumni members, we are able to incorporate both practitioner and academic perspectives on how to do business on the continent and the opportunities that exist. The Alliance was created to formalise and strengthen our Africa initiative, and to stimulate action in addition to generating ideas. It also brings African thought-leaders together to talk on the opportunities on the continent; and connects members with other African related networks and groups.

The Continent is teeming with talent; and one of my goals is to attract the most diverse group of African MBA students that Oxford Saïd has ever had.

Oxford Africa Business Forum

""

Business as a force for nation building

This year's forum will be held on 8 and 9 March 2024. It is centred on the integral role businesses play in national development. By creating jobs, driving innovation, and fostering economic growth, they are pivotal to the growth of states and must therefore work in partnership with governments and all relevant stakeholders in achieving national goals.

The forum will be delivered in-person with an opening gala dinner at one of Oxford University’s historic colleges followed by the day Forum at Oxford Saïd. All day sessions will be live-streamed.
