Diane started her DPhil in Financial Economics in 2017 under the supervision of Tim Jenkinson and Thomas Noe.

Diane started her DPhil in Financial Economics in 2017 under the supervision of Tim Jenkinson and Thomas Noe. Her research focus is on the early-stage funding options, especially on angel investment. She is a member of the Green Templeton College, and she has been awarded the Said Business School-Said Foundation Scholarship for her DPhil studies

Before starting her DPhil, Diane obtained her MSc in Statistics from the National University of Singapore. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance. After finishing her master degree, Diane worked as a tax consultant with Deloitte, Singapore. Diane also worked as a co-founder of a start-up specializing in headhunting prior pursuing her master degree, and this entrepreneurial experience triggers her interests in researching the financing options for start-ups.
