The Oxford Scenarios Programme

Overview

The leading question
Scenarios encourage you to explore what might happen. They are stories constructed to explore ‘what if?’ in ways that not only illuminate the ever-changing spectrum of possible futures, but cast new light on the wisdom of current action. Scenario thinking is a capability to see further and more clearly in a world clouded by information overload, rapid change, irreconcilable certitudes and persistent uncertainty.

The Oxford Scenarios Programme (held over five days) is designed for participants from governments, non-governments and business organisations, it offers executives operating in, or moving towards, scenario-planning roles within their organisation, an opportunity to work with advanced techniques for scenario building and engagement. It is suitable for individuals and teams with varying levels of scenarios experience.
