The group aims to carry out academically rigorous and impactful research. They intend to help standard setters develop high-quality accounting standards, improve how companies communicate with external investors and inform investors about using accounting information for capital allocation decisions. They pursue research in all areas of accounting, including international accounting, standard setting and non-financial reporting.
